Sandy and Lauren went grocery shopping and then for a pedicure, manicure. I'm not sure who is having more fun !
I did taxes ... RUSA taxes ... and later in the day received the Randonneurs Ontario tax return for signature, from the partner at the tax firm who generously donates his time. He was a friend of Jim Griffin, who passed away a few months ago. The Ontario return is much more complicated. Obviously they don't fall under the US Paperwork Reduction Act. There's no simple return.
Of course the US return, albeit short, isn't easy. I've developed a tax return working spreadsheet that helps but it's still a pain to get all the right numbers in the correct places. At the end of the day I printed it out (and the prior year) to review side-by-side. What a waste of paper. Perhaps I need two laptops ?
I booked our flights to/from Venice for June and July. I got part-way through booking Brazil but ran into a snag as it wouldn't load the seat map. I'll get back at that this morning or talk to Amex. I ordered some parts from BMW for the service work next week. I pondered over and wrote a piece on insurance waivers and just sent that off to a couple of our members who are lawyers and will now await their responses, beating me up.
