I've ridden on the new saddle twice now. The first time, I developed a saddle sore, i.e. broke the skin. Yesterday it got worse, bandage notwithstanding. Ugh. You'd think that after all this riding that would be impossible, but noooooo. The new saddle is the same as the old except slippery and at a slightly different angle and of course, try as I might, there are some minor differences between the bikes' setup. Ugh Ugh.
Apart from riding, Sandy and I went to Total Wine in Daytona and I picked up a selection for the wine cooler. I was getting really bored with the wine on hand. Sandy maintained that she didn't need any but selected a half-dozen herself. We came home with 20 bottles; mine all two-sies and I'll have to place checkmarks against those worth buying. We tried the first, a Chilean Cab and while drinkable, it's lightweight and disappointing. Oh well, after the 20% discount for a mixed case, it was <$10. I doubt if the second bottle will be any better than the first !
NSB was having one of its street markets, not the fabled art show. Sandy took Cassie for a walk up and down. Cassie got lots of attention but she's skittish in amongst all those people and dogs. Sandy said that she was particularly confused/curious about one of those miniature horses, like "what is this ?" ... "it doesn't smell like a dog ...".
The flounder for dinner was good. It's never remarkable but almost always good. Sometimes it comes in a bunch of small fillets to make up a dinner. This time it was one half, so that was a big one. Even though they are flat, there are still two fillets.
Onward ...
