Apr 6 - a quiet day

I didn't do much on Saturday other than some email & RUSA work catch up.  Sandy and Joyce tripped around to the market and the beach but not before Sandy had prepared her finger burner lamb ribs stewing in marinade.  That was dinner along with grilled carrots, asparagus & nana fries/japanese zucchini for me. 

Cassie got a walk with Sandy first thing and then a trip to the sandbar.  She had a good day !

I'd forgotten to mention that the first day of my 600k, Thursday, Sandy and Joyce spent the full day at Epcot even through fireworks. They watched some of the Christopher Cross concert as well but said that it was boring.  Cassie had a boring day with a walk first thing and then Lisa at dinner time.

I had a few bites from riding through some clouds of flies during the 600k and was itchy here and there arms, neck, legs - anything not covered - and even a little allergic reaction swelling.  It's gone now, but is fairly typical when I get a handful of no-see-um bites.  I looked in the fridge to see if I had any Benadryl hanging around but I'd thrown it away some time ago.  I didn't feel like making a trip to CVS. 

It's hard to believe that two weeks from now we'll be in Sardinia.  Ugh.  Lots of stuff to do in between !  Life's about to get crazier.
