It was really, really windy and from the east, so I rode for an hour towards Loring and then back in 45 minutes. I'm looking forward to getting in some real distance once we're back in Florida.
I took Cassie for another woodsy walk and she had a blast as usual, running, running, running. Meanwhile, Sandy made a quick trip to Sudbury and picked up a bird for Thanksgiving, among other things.
Unbeknownst to us, Jason, Lorraine & Kim had arrived the night before. Cassie knew but didn't tell me. When I got back from my ride I could see the lawnmower doing it's thing next door.
When Sandy got back, I did some juggling and put he car in the garage. It won't move again until May. If it does move in between, that means that we've had some emergency at Christmas and needed two cars ... or ... needed one car with the other disabled. If that happens, I'll have to mount the snow tires that are in the barn.
Jason plans to close up on Tuesday; we plan to leave on Wednesday. As I said to Sandy, I don't care how far we get, even if we only get to Parry Sound, but I want to be on the move. That would put us in PA on Thursday. We intend to see Jeffrey's new digs on the way and perhaps see Mariadela & Leonas and Wayne Guymon.
Onward !
