It's hard to believe that going to the grocery store is an event to be blogged, and yet here we are. I restocked yogurt, guacamole, snacking peppers, hummus, some sliced turkey for my lunches and frozen veggies ... and eggs. For the first time since the run on the grocery store, eggs were in good supply. I didn't look in the paper products aisle. Frozen veggies were being limited to two of a type, but since there are several different brands of everything, that's not much of a limitation. Think about it though -- this is Florida, grocery stores open much of the time - how many people would have a large freezer to stack a ton of stuff ? Toilet paper can pile up, but not frozen veggies ... or anything refrigerated, for that matter.
I took the dogs over to the sandbar again and prior to that, picked up some more gas. Out and about !
Pandemic cases continue to mount although there are only 60 in our county and 2 in our little town - that we know of - that's the problem.
Our plan is to go boating today but I'm wondering if Sandy will be ok since she has an eye appointment first thing and no doubt her eyes will be dilated. We shall see.
Onward !
