Apr 12 - Easter

I tried streaming Mass, which worked quite nicely.  Unusual for Easter, I was able to find a seat ...  The only trouble with streaming is that it's hard to stay focused and not multi-task.

It was boating day and we headed out to disappearing island.  We took the canal through the housing development and then decided to turn left and follow the creek, not 100% sure that we could get through.  After a couple of miles, the houses disappeared and it looked like we were heading for a dead end, based on google maps, but eventually came out behind the island.  Oh yes, and along the way, it rained a little.  Wandering around in the convoluted creek with multiple branches there was the possibility that we would get lost and not even be able to tell a rescue boat where we were !

Cassie had a good time on the island of course and then we headed back, getting splashed by the waves from the 25mph SSE wind.

Once home and the motor flushed etc, I decided to put it back into the water and did some more boat accessible mangrove work close to Gene's as well as the island out front.  I guess that one thing that I might accomplish in the next month is trimming that island !

I had tried to call Alice Pao the prior day and not gotten through.  This time I did.  She's attending to Peter who has some sort of mercury accumulation.  They are trying various chelation approaches.  Not fun.  The last time that we exchanged messages was in November and they were in Romania.  We all do get around.

Jeffrey, Sara and the kids Facetimed with us.

That's about it ...
