Ripping SE wind for my ride but enjoyed those times when there was enough foliage close on the left side to provide shelter. The ride to Titusville, once I turned west, was sweet, and the trip north easy going. The weather continues to be stellar and I hope that it stays that way !
Before heading out, I composed the monthly update to our ride organizers and incorporated feedback. Leaving it for the afternoon, I added more feedback once I returned; sent that out this morning. I had two immediate responses - one "Great email"; the other "Too little, too late". These two were quite predictable. That's the way that it goes. No doubt there will be more exchanges today.
Jeffrey announced that he starts a new job on Monday. That's good news. Netapp, with a market cap around 9B, will be quite different from where he is leaving.
No one will be at our cottage for Victoria Day ... David thinks that he and Vanda might go up during the week. David is still laid off and Vanda, as a teacher (TA), is also on pause.
It seems like the Canada / US border is being closed for another month, so I'm not sure what that means for us. We shall see.
The lane snapper for dinner last night had a slight fishy taste. Not impressed. Tonight we'll be back at the Tiki for an outdoor dinner.
Onward !
