May 16-18 - counting down

We are still planning on heading north the last weekend of May and gradually organizing to that end.  We heard from someone-who-knows-someone that a recent local resident, Canadian citizen, had no trouble crossing the border.  Said person now at their cottage in Muskoka and quarantined, confirmed by email last night.  They went through the whole signature deal etc. and were the only ones at the border at the time, crossing at the Peace Bridge, Buffalo. So ... while I will check with CBSA, it's looking good.

On the 16th and the 18th, I rode.  On the 16th and the 18th, I got wet.  Fun.  At least it's warm !

We ate at the Tiki on Friday and Sunday; Sunday being sort-of impromptu.  We were delayed going over, intending to only have a drink, but decided on the spot to stay.  Sandy met up with one of her fellow kayak group people and confirmed and then on the 18th went out with the group.

I'm gathering stuff in the dining room that will go north with us.  I still haven't decided how many bikes to take.  There are only two choices - one or two :).  I suppose that I could flip a coin !

Onward !
