Off to Thunder Bay. We planned with Diane to surprise Philip for his 60th. Like me, of course, he knew something was up.
It was an easy drive. We stayed in a little motel in Schreiber ON to make the drive more manageable. The weather was and has been great.
We hadn't met Diane before, or her boys or her sister etc. Diane worked her tail off prepping and feeding us. Eat drink eat drink. Whew.
We did a video Messenger gathering spanning the world. Ottawa, Thunder Bay, California, New Zealand ... took some coordination. We had intended to use zoom but we were already connected via FB messenger.
Tomorrow am we head back via the northern route. We will stop before or in Sudbury and shop on Tuesday on the way to the cottage.
