Jul 7-13 - what's happening ?

Not much.  The neighbors come and go.  Chili is the only constant.  I go to Mass in Britt; 9 people at Mass last Sunday including me, not including the priest.  The hot weather finally broke and we've had a couple of cooler, cloudy days with some rain thrown in.  Today it's heading back into the low 80's and I plan to get out on the bike again.

The deer flies are awful, a real downer for cycling.  I end up with welts from every ride.  Today I hope to get out again and will likely have more welts.

Sandy has been busy in the garden and is now working on the deck table, repainting that.  She's planning on trashing the existing chairs and using the black ones stacked in the gazebo to match the newly black table.  We discovered that the glass could not be removed without cutting and patching steel; seems that it was welded after the glass was put into place.  Dumb. At any rate, we masked the glass and that painting is underway.
 
Life goes on. The virus news only gets worse.  We're happy to be in Canada.  

We had Kim and Graham over for dinner last night.  A delightful evening.  No leftovers :).
