We left the cottage on the 9th, as planned and stayed overnight with Jason & Lorraine. Friends, food and wine ... can't beat it.
On Sunday we headed to Nazareth and the PA Thompsons. It was an easy drive, for this time of year. Traffic was minimal. We were actually inspected, on the spot, at the border. It seems that they're bored. I actually opened the trailer as part of the inspection but of course we had nothing to hide. We never do.
On Monday, I started plumbing. All day Monday. All day Tuesday. All of the 3/4" CPVC is now done running to and from the 2 filters and the water softener. Today, Wednesday, I've got to plumb the softener discharge but I'm not exactly sure how that's going to work out. I'll also finish up the carbon filter work. It's had the requisite 2 days of soaking - I got that underway before even doing the plumbing. I'm hoping that I can do that on the spot and run a discharge hose to the sump pump. We shall see.
Our plan is to head south tomorrow, arriving in NSB on Friday.
Heading to Home Depot in a few minutes, my 6th or more trip. I also hit Lowes once, for some adapters that I couldn't find at HD.
I hate plumbing. The only thing worse than plumbing is doing it at someone else's house with all the trips to the hardware store, making do with tools that aren't quite what I need ...
Onward.
