Feb 21-23 - short term solution

Called my Dr office on Monday morning as I was heading out for a ride (what's wrong with this picture ?) to say that the pain is better except overnight and I have this numbness in my knee that's new since the visit two weeks earlier (etc etc more to the update).  The nurse took that to Dr and called me back later to say stop the prescription nsaid as Dr is trying a steroid; if that doesn't solve the problem, mri is next step.

Once home and showered, I picked that up.  On the phone, the nurse had warned me that there would be side effects.  Yeah.  Heavy duty stuff. A six day script that hits hard the first day and then weans you off by the sixth.

What can I say. My always there rotator cuff shoulder pain is gone. Complete inflammatory system reprogramming. The list of potential side effects is longer than the symptoms that it addresses. Six tabs yesterday, five today, four tomorrow... you get the idea. It's made a huge difference but time will tell whether it lasts.

In other news, Sandy has been busy staining the dock. Making life more difficult for herself, naturally she's using a brush.  She could have rolled the entire thing in less than hour but has to okay dodge-em with the sun, doing this with a brush.

In yet more news, I replaced my router yesterday but then added the old router back into the mix to handle all of the IOT (internet of things) devices - thermostats, alarm, plugs and switches, cameras - so that the main router only has a half dozen connections now while the secondary has about 20.   I will probably buy another of these routers for the cottage. If we ever get Starlink up and running (in queue now) we might actually have viable internet service at the cottage.

With the new setup I'm getting double or triple the speed. Good.

And that's all the news.
