May 6-11 - two down, two to go

Two down.  Two Dr's appointments, that is.  I had my annual physical on the 5th and yesterday I had my teeth cleaned.  I may look into another cleaning solution.  My gums still feel brutalized from yesterday's attack.

My original schedule for the dentist was on the 18th but that was cancelled due to the hygienist being out that day.  I got a few hours notice of a time slot yesterday and I grabbed it.  I now have the annual urologist appointment on the 18th.  I've already done the PSA test as part of my annual blood labs and there's no change, so that's good.  For some reason my Dr has requested a urine flow test.  I think that everyone's scheduling extra tests to pull in more money since they've been in financial trouble with elective surgeries being cancelled due to the pandemic.  That's all that I can assume.  I haven't had a problem with urine flow or frequency.  I may skip that.  

On the 19th, I have my "annual" dermatologist appointment.  I put that in quotes because she only expects me every two years.  I didn't realize that it's been five ... I have to fill in forms as a new patient.  Did they think that I'd passed away in the meantime ?  Sandy is there at least every other month with facials etc. but we're not linked.  No - "how's Dave doing ?  We haven't seen him in quite a while".  HIPAA, y'know.

The upstairs bathroom work crawls along.  Jeff is supposed to come today and soon, soon, they're supposed to start tiling.  I don't know that building a fire will help anything along.  Vic is also supposed to show up.  His cabinet work is supposed to take three weeks ... perhaps we can accelerate that.  I expect that I'll be installing a piece of plywood and cheap sink for the time being.  Granite work won't take place until the fall.  

Cassie got a boat ride yesterday.  Rain was expected and my dentist appointment was mid day, so no biking.  Earlier than expected we got a light shower and then the rain went sideways.  Huge wind, sideways dumping rain, furniture all over the place.  We're supposed to get rain today too.  Perhaps I'll finally get out and do some bridge repeats.  Tomorrow is another day with t-storms predicted.  

RUSA tax return was mailed yesterday.  Check that box.  I should do the RI return while I'm thinking about it.
