Dec 5-7 - population explosion

Sheryl & Jenny arrived on the 7th. Dogs have great memories. She ran into the house to the water dish. Sandy and Marda went into Orlando shopping and we were 6 for dinner (including Cassie and Jenny).

I got another ride in on the 6th, finishing off my khound, 10,000 rusa km credit for the year (so far). RUSA counts foreign 1200ks for this purpose, not shorter rides. At best I'll get another 100-200k in before we head north.

Today will be busy:
- Marda heads home
- I'm changing X5 to snow tires
- it's booster day
- dinner at SYC
- RUSA board call

I did finally cancel Spectrum even though T-Mobile isn't quite up to speed yet. Naturally they offered to match the T-Mobile price but I'm going to give this setup some time to mature and stop paying triple, including services up north.

I'm leaving the Linux machine running while we are away to use the Plex Server remotely. The upload speed with T-Mobile is good and the streaming speed up north is awesome.   Right now there's nothing else on the machine, just a small boot drive and a 2TB drive of videos. Should be interesting.

Lots of snow up north but it'll be warm this weekend and much could melt away. Travel north looks like it will be snow-less.

Sunday is D-Day - D for departure.

Onward.
