Or clunk?  24 hours later the knee clicked back into place. It's actually audible. It took gradual pressure bending the knee towards 90 degrees - doesn't get there and it's painful but that's the direction.  Much less pain with it in place but I'm treating it very carefully. 

MRI on Wednesday … can't come soon enough.  I hope that the radiologist gets to it quickly!
