The place was hopping at times as the big and medium kids played games.  There wasn't as much outdoor this year with the temp swings.

When we arrived the lake was frozen over and still is. Before it got thick, snow weighed it down and there was an intermediate layer of water. Then more snow and slush. It's supposed to get cold again before we leave. If I had some get-up-and-go, I could do a day of ice fishing before we leave, assuming that Reg Gohm has minnows.

The 4 wheeler got a little use but not on the lake other than a brief spin around - too much snow at that point.  The three wheeler needs work - won't shift into neutral.  It's better on the snow … when it runs.

We cut the tree on 522 again, using the trailer with the little boat on it.

On the 1st Sunday here, I went to Britt for Mass but there was no power and Mass was cancelled. The church isn't heated during the week. On Saturday Christmas Eve, we had 6-8 inches on snow on the road and I only decided at the last minute that I would chance it - 7pm mass. A bit dicey but ok. By Sunday New Year's Day, roads were bare, no problem.

I'm sure that I'm missing detail but oh well.

Our plan is to leave Thursday.
